This is my every day makeup routine that gets me ready in 10 minutes or less. Also including some tips and tricks for rushed daycare drop-off mornings, because we have plenty of those in this house.
Elf Hydrating Face Primer: I start off by applying a pump or two of this all over my face. This primer smooths out and moisturizes my skin, allowing my BB cream to apply much more evenly.

L’Oreal
Visible Lift Luminous Serum Tint: I like to mix a little squeeze of this
into my BB cream to give my skin a dewy glow.
Bobbi
Brown BB Cream: This has been my go-to BB cream for a long time now. It’s
just the right amount of coverage for my skin and I don’t need to use anything
else in addition. It also stays all day. I squeeze this onto the back of my
hand, along with the Lumious Serum, and swirl it around to warm it up for
easier application.
Pixi Full Cover Foundation Brush: This is
the brush I use to apply the BB cream/luminous serum to my face. If you don’t
use a foundation brush, I highly recommend investing in one because it applies
much more evenly and consistently than with your fingers.
Rockateur
Blush: This was recommended by a representative at Ulta and I really like
it. It’s a rosy shimmery pink that looks natural.
Goof
Proof Brow Pencil: I use this to lightly fill in my brows. The shade and
consistency is just right, and when your brows look good the rest of your face
looks even better.
Elf Eyeshadow Primer:
This $2 primer works just as well as the more expensive ones, and it keeps my
eyeshadow from creasing or smearing all day long. I swipe this over my eyelids
and let it set for a minute or two, and then apply my eyeshadow over top.
Pixi It’s Judytime
Eyeshadow Pallet: One of my newest and most favorite pallets. These colors
are just so good. I love Snowflake, Good Morning, Bubbly, and Brick for day
time, and the darker jewel tones in my creases and outer eye for nights out.
Pixi Endless Silky Eye
Pen: This is my most favorite eyeliner that I’ve ever used. It glides right
on and stays in place. The color I love the most is Sage Gold, which is a
sparkly olive hue, but I also really love Matte Mulberry.
Rimmel
London Nude Eyeliner: This makes all the difference in opening up and highlighting
my eyes. I apply this on the inner eyelid, both top and bottom, and it makes my
eyes pop.
L’Oreal
Volumious Mascara Primer: This sets my mascara so well, keeps it from
running, and lengthens my lashes even more so. I swipe this on my upper and
lower lashes, let it set for 30 seconds-1 minute (but don’t let it dry all the
way), and then apply my mascara over top.
L’Oreal
Telescopic Mascara: I was a loyal L’Oreal Voluminous mascara user for years
and I really think they changed the formula. It suddenly started running like
crazy, no matter what I did. So I started looking for a replacement. I tried a
more expensive mascara (Landcome’s Hypnose Drama Instant Full Volume Mascara)
and also ordered this Telescopic Mascara, and I have to say, I like the
Telescopic one more. The wand is really thin and takes a minute to get used to
and is sometimes annoying to push back into the tube, but it really does work
in lengthening lashes and doesn’t run at all.
My short-cut for crazy mornings is to apply only the
Luminous Serum tint on my face, the Nude eyeliner on my inner eyelids, and a
swipe or two of the Telescopic mascara. This gets me looking awake and alive,
because I feel like every time I stumble out of bed and head out the door and
bypass my morning routine I always run into somebody I haven’t seen in 5 years.
Hope this is helpful and you love these products as much as I
do! I'd also love to hear about any of YOUR favorite products. Leave them in the comments! Cheers to Friday, friends!
