Here it is! The renovated bathroom! It’s been about a month
in the making and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how it turned out. The “before”
was such a dark space, tiled from floor to half-way up the ceiling in dark maroon
tiles, with paint on the remaining walls to match. There was a gross 500 gallon
jet tub surrounded by built in wine racks, yet a stall shower smaller than any
other we’ve ever encountered. Everything was old, old, old, with sinks that
were broken and water that took a full 3 minutes to turn warm. The pipes were routed through an exterior wall and froze and burst two years in a row. Needless to say, these were at the top of our list to fix. We joke, now,
that we should have to revisit this space once a week to keep us eternally
grateful for the beautiful bathroom we now have.
