11 Spring Break Must-Haves

Back to reality over here after a week off of work. We're still dealing with some serious flooding issues in our basement, which are on-going and seemingly never ending. I posted some stories on Instragram (follow along @laurablog1) to show you what we're dealing with as we start to slowly rebuild. Needless to say, I'm dreaming of SUN and put together this little list of the top 11 must-haves for any of you lucky people that have a spring break trip in your future. I'll definitely be scooping up this suit, sandals, and sunglasses for summertime, and love the Shimmer Lights shampoo to wash away any brassiness in blonde hair to keep it cooler-toned. For any of you traveling, I'd love to hear where to so I can live vicariously through you! Leave a comment, below!

Levi’s Denim Shorts: classic denim to pair with everything.
Mermaid Tee: so cute to throw on over a bathing suit or after a day at the beach
Purple Shampoo: this is THE BEST for getting out brassy tones or chlorine from blonde hair. Just look at the before and after pictures people provided.
Rose Gold Sandals: These are on my must-have list for summer.
Turkish Beach Towel: Turkish towels are the best for the beach because they roll so well, take up such a small amount of space, and absorb a lot of water.
Lace Drop Bathing Suit: How cute is this? Flattering for all body types.
Tassel Cover Up: This would look so good with a tan.
Sunglasses: Love, love, love this pair, especially for the beach.
Split Maxi Dress: Perfect to wear out to dinner and currently only $14.99.
Straw Beach Tote: Perfect to pack along to the pool or beach.
Restorative Chap Stick: For dried out lips after laying out in the sun.

February Amazon Finds and Favorites

Lip Scrub: I’m always reaching for my chap stick in the winter. This lip scrub exfoliates and leaves my lips smooth. Perfect for under glosses or lipsticks, or just as is.

Himalayan Salt Scrub: Smells so good and feels even better on your skin. I like to use on my feet, legs, knees, and elbows, especially in the winter months.

Bathtub Toy Organizers: We’ve had about 4 previous iterations of organizers and they either fell off of the wall constantly or weren’t big enough for all of our bath time swag. I love that this set comes with two nets and that they also serve to dry out all of the toys after use.

Turkish Towel Set: You know my Turkish towel love runs deep, and I added this set to our new bathroom.

Bath Toys: When we moved onto the new bath time organizers I did a big purge of our old toys. I substituted our old squirt toys with these, which have removable heads to completely dry out the insides after use. No more mold, hooray!

The Woman In the Window: Got this book after so many recommendations. I love a good mystery/suspense novel.

Eye Cream: This is THE BEST for puffy eyes or eyes with dark circles. I mean, just look at those reviews. My eyes are so much lighter and brighter after using this.

Transformers: For any moms of boys (or girls!) ages 2-5, these will change your life. At least they did for us. I picked some up from a buy/sell/trade site and our boys just can’t get enough. It’s Transformers (or as August calls them, ‘formers) alllllllllllll day, every day. These are just the right size for their little hands to manipulate back and forth and it’s the most independent play we’ve seen out of either of them in a long time.

Lacoste Belt: Matt wore through a few of his belts so I bought this one for him, which is, for some reason, marked way down from the other colors. Love the way it looks on.

Serving Plate: We always host Easter at our house and recently scooped up this beautiful serving platter. It’s even prettier in person than it is in these photos. Now bring me Spring.
