Mama Bear Pouches: It’s back to school starting tomorrow, which means the dreaded packing of lunches. Amazon came out with their own line of Organic baby food called Mama Bear, and we tried out the Apple/Pear/Spinach variety. I’m here to tell you that BOTH boys suck these right down for a snack, AND they have a serving of iron-rich vegetables. These are so easy to toss into lunch bags and are way cheaper than Plum or Happy Baby. Try the subscribe and save option for even better pricing (hint: you can set the frequency to as few and far between as you’d like and still get the discount).
Neutrogena
Face Wash: I’ve been on a hunt for a face wash that gets rid of ALL makeup,
mascara included, without having to use a separate eye makeup remover. This one
is the best I’ve tried and leaves my face completely clean. No black circles
under my eyes from smeared mascara or eye shadow that didn’t come off.
Marble
Phone Case: August finally destroyed my old case, so I upgraded to this
little beaut. I like the cracked, rose gold marble look. It’s also thin and not
bulky, but protects against being dropped.
LoveHandle
Loopy Phone Accessory: THIS, you guys, it’s so handy. It’s a loopy thing
that attaches to the back of your phone and makes skimming your phone or taking
pictures so much easier. Your phone will be safer since you’re less likely to
drop it. It comes on and off as needed, and lays flat so you can still keep
your phone in your pocket.
LeapFrog
Fridge Phonics: The boys got this for Christmas and it’s just perfect for
them both. The bus is a magnet that sticks to your fridge (or any other
magnetic surface in your house) and comes with 26 magnetic letter tiles. The
letters can be switched from letter to letter, and each has a song to teach you
the sound that that letter makes. Oskar is currently working on letter
identification and their sounds, and this is right up his alley. And August. He’s
all about the music and dances right along, which you might have caught in my
Instagram stories. So far, all letters are D to him, though. I’ll let you know
how that goes.
Food
and Wine Cookbook: I got this cookbook and loved it so much I gave it as a
gift. The recipes are made up of realistic ingredients and most can be prepared
in an hour. The table of contents is sorted on types of wine with all food
pairings underneath. One of my resolutions is to cook more, so this cookbook
will (hopefully) be brought out regularly.
Vintage
Style Knit Socks: In an effort to organize my drawers for the new year, I threw
out about 1,000 mismatched socks. This set of 5 looks vintagey and warm for
winter and are $3/pair.
Whisk
Mix Stir Mixing Bowls: I’ve had these in my Saved for Later queue for a
long time, but including them here because they’re so cute. These would look
great on open shelving in a kitchen.
Swing
Tanks: I’ve been in search of the perfect swing tank to go under drapey
cardigans for a long time. Winner winner. This one has the perfect amount of
scoop in the front and back, and is just the right amount of flowy to be super
flattering. Also long enough to tuck in the front if you want to. The perfect
basic staple.
Animal
Pajamas: I saw these pajamas and thought they were the cutest, AND they’re
only $12. August loves animals, so these are perfect for him.
