Last week, I got the chance to escape away for a quick Wednesday to Sunday trip to Stockholm, Sweden to spend a few quiet, unplanned, sunny days with my sister. Unplanned with the exception of tickets to a Podcast Tour (more on that later) which was our initial "reason" to jet away. It was exactly what I needed and exactly when I needed it. We had no agenda or plan, and we walked and ate and drank, walked and ate and drank, to the tune of 30,000 steps and 4-5 cafes or bars a day. Truly, the very best way to travel. We stayed in a little 100-year-old Airbnb apartment right in the heart of Gamla Stan, or old-city, and the charm was through the roof. I finished my book, we applied clay masks almost every night, and caught up on TV shows I never have time to watch before bed. Stockholm is situated on 14 islands, which makes for some seriously beautiful views and bridges, and paired with 70 degree weather with the bluest skies, the city really gave us the very best it had to offer. Sharing some of my favorite photos from our stay with you here to convince you to start planning your trip--if not to Stockholm, then somewhere you've never been! It was such a good reset. Travel is truly so good for the soul.

Arriving in Gamla Stan. We stayed 5 stories up a twisting staircase with no elevator in the building. Fun times with suitcases.
