I've been slowly putting this post together ever since decorations started going up...very sneakily...before Thanksgiving. That's the way I roll these days. December always goes by so fast and I want it to last as long as possible, especially with two little boys that love it all as much as I do. I love to see how other people decorate and different styles, so I wanted to put ours out there into the Christmas universe. We really have two main spaces, our family room and bedroom, decorated to the nines, and then little nic nacks scattered throughout the rest of our home. Both spaces have sort of fallen into the "modern farmhouse" category--warmth and comfort, reclaimed wood, barn doors, and a balance of old and new.
